Chocolate Chip Cookies

Photobucket

It took me a while to find just the right Chocolate chip cookie recipe. I tried a few recipes from cookbooks that I bought and I honestly have to say... they were POO compared to this one! I should have known that I should have just turned to the one and only Isa Moskowitz for the perfect cookie recipes. I mean COME ON!!!

This recipe came from her amazing cookbook VEGAN WITH A VENGEANCE. They are great!

Have you tried Dreena Burton's chocolate chip cookie recipe? I find it shocking how many people are loyal to the VWAV recipe. I think they're are greener cookie pastures ahead. (And clearly, I totally dig your blog and respect your sense of taste, or I wouldn't presume to recommend an alternate recipe.) And Happy MoFo!

hi leanne, it's chelcie!

i just read all of your posts and your recipes look AWESOME! you've almost convinced me to become vegan. the only thing stopping me is that my fiance is a picky eater and doesn't like veggies... ha!

you should bring more cookies in to work, deary! or at least save one for me! :D

these cookies look good. It can take a long time to settle onto a choc chip cookie recipe :) I have made many yucky ones.

I second Dreena's chocolate chip cookies (increase molasses to 1 TBS if you like a molasses cookie). Dreena has it on her blog.
